Confidence Mapping
Confidence Mapping Service
Input Maps
- GK Technology exclusive service which
takes 3 separate input maps
- These input maps can come from many
sources, Satellite Imagery, In Field Remote Sensing Map,
Yield Maps, or Veris Maps.
- Three input maps can be combinations from
different sources - Example - 2 Imagery & 1 Yield or 1
Imagery, 1 Remote Sensing & 1 Yield.
Output Maps
- Average Productivity Map
- The input
maps are averaged to create a mean productivity for each
area of the field.
- Maximum Productivity Map
- Each pixel of the field is averaged and compared against
the mean, helping to remove one year events.
- Confidence Map -
Inputs are compared to each other
producing a map that will give you the percent chance of an
area of the field to produce at a given level.
- The Average Productivity Map is usually
used to produce zones within the field for sampling and
application.
(To the left is an
Average Productivity Map ready for soil sampling)
- The Maximum Productivity map is used for
setting Yield Goals.
(To the left is a
Maximum Productivity Map for setting Yield Goals)
- Once Soil samples are taken and Yield
Goals set, the application map is written for whatever
products are required to be applied by whatever applicator
you are using.
- Cost - $4 / acre - Map creation
thru Application maps (you are responsible for soil
sampling).
