Ag Data Viewer Version 2 Change Log
2838 October 8,
2007
- Changes made to Marking Functions, now supports the use of a game
controller for starting and stopping mapping functions. Some of you have
been waiting for this. :-)
- We modify these game controllers to allow for external switches to mark
features, such as a soil probe extending.
- Additional Unlock functions added. Variable Rate Control is functioning
well for some controllers, but not all controllers are tested yet.
- Options added in Preferences to all the user to select what point and
line styles are used for new layers created by the software.
- The Reduce boundary effect distance is now a user defined option.
- GPS Settings have been enhanced. A couple of pages have been added to the preferences tab under GPS
Config. These allow users to change settings for Garmin 16 Series and Rust Sales RTK
receivers.
- Data logging for topography data has been greatly improved. Using the
Log Path Button data is collected at the full speed of the GPS receiver.
With this option data collected from a 5Hz receiver at even 20 MPH will give
you a data set with points only about 4 feet apart. The resulting file is
not a shape file, but can be treated as one or exported for surfacing and
point display.
- The Build Nutrient Layers tool has been modified to all multiple runs
from the same zone map.
- If a "GKData\CountyData\Imagery" folder is not found at startup, the
will now be created instead of he software just whining that it couldn't
find them.
- Mid-Tech EVP file format added as a file that is natively displayed and
loaded by the tree.
- GK Technology "GKT_LOG" logging file added as a file that is natively
displayed and loaded by the tree.

been dropped somewhere along the line.
- Several new help topics added.
2759 July 25, 2007

-
Greatly improved GPS code.
-
GreenStar 1 data can be imported for use as
topography points.

routine for APEX Data to convert the elevation units from decimeters to
feet.
-
Even with options 7 and 8 above added a lot of JD
Data is not of good quality, it repeats the same elevation number for long
periods of time.

Under the Tools menu is an Option
Build Base Color Table. This option will allow you to build your own "base"
color table. Just in case you don't like Rainbow or Red-Yellow-Green.
